British boxer Anthony Joshua Released from Hospital in Nigeria Following Tragic Car Crash

The British boxer Anthony Joshua has been discharged from hospital, local government spokespeople stated on Wednesday night. The fighter was involved in a car accident outside Lagos on Monday, a horrific crash that claimed the lives of two of his valued colleagues.

Under Observation for Minor Injuries

The boxer had been under observation while healing from his light wounds, representatives stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on social media that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to continue his recovery at home.

“Anthony and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two departed friends as they were being readied to be sent home,” Omotosho said.

Honoring the Deceased

Those who lost their lives were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the athlete was heartbroken and overcome with emotion over the tragic loss of his two dear friends.”

This update on his health comes as the boxing community offered its support for the star in the wake of the terrible crash.
